Meeting place of waters 

Heading north on Tweed Valley Way, Tumbulgum is a picturesque village on the banks of the Tweed River, with views across the cane fields to the foothills of the caldera. A peaceful village, residents enjoy use of the river for boating and fishing, with residential properties mostly raised to look out over the water. On the other side of the River, rural properties are dotted among rolling hills leading to a scenic ridge drive north to the Gold Coast.

Tumbulgum hosts a number of food options for all occasions with a number of popular cafes, and the Tumbulgum Tavern is a popular spot for residents and visitors.  Activities enjoyed include river sports, boat tours and shopping at the local growers market offering fresh produce.

The local primary school is Tumbulgum Public School for years K-6.
