You Have A Friend

Founded in 2008, 'You Have A Friend' is a local charity with a powerful cause - helping the homeless, marginalised, single parents and their children. 100% funded by donations, You Have A Friend provides hundreds of meals, fruits and vegetables and groceries to those most in need in the community, making them a very worthwhile organisation for support. You may have seen the iconic branded van around Murwillumbah and Tweed, giving people a helping hand when they need it the most.

'You Have A Friend' run a charity op-shop at 2/3 Machinery Drive, Tweed Heads South, and all funds go towards helping feed the homeless. They also offer valuable support to our farmers who are doing it tough in drought conditions.  They were especially challenged following the devastation of Cyclone Debbie and resulting floods in 2017, but continued to help as much as they could in the community.

First National Real Estate Murwillumbah chose 'You Have A Friend' as their local chosen non-profit organisation in 2018 and for the sale of every property, our Agency made a donation.  After six months we were able to present $4,700 to 'You Have A Friend', so they can continue the good work that they do in the local community.
